I painted this on an 8 x 10 panel and now think I try the same picture on a 16 x 20. And when I do, I will add a woman walking a dog, because this is where I walk Coco on nice days. We live just off this dirt road.
Beautiful scene here, Sue. Makes me imagine myself walking on that lane myself, just listening to the wind soughing in the grasses and trees and feeling the warmth of the sun...
I have just discovered your blog, and all your beautiful work. "Heritage Lane" looks like a nice place to go for a walk. I especially like the Little House in Sandwich, MA. I know the area very well, as we summer not far from there.
Sounds like a nice idea! Lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteNice light and shadows in this, Sue. Anxious to see the larger one...is this plein air or from a photo?

ReplyDeleteI love your landscapes, Sue! I found your blog through another Texas artist's blog and so glad I did!
